“All Around The World” was first released in mid-2012 as a promotional single for Justin Bieber’s third studio album “Believe” (2012). It was then released in early 2013 as the fourth US and international single of the album. The track is written by The Messengers and Nolan Lambroza. With this song Justin also returns to his collaboration with rapper Ludacris who has previously appeared in Bieber’s video “Baby” (2010). Besides lending his vocals, Ludacris, together with Bieber, wrote additional lyrics for “All Around The World”.
The song, which is primarily a Eurodance track with heavy synths instrumentation, was well received by the musical critics at large. Its sound was compared to that of certain works of Britney Spears, Chris Brown and Usher. In an earlier interview Bieber had promised that the entire “Believe” album would be a surprise for the audience in many ways, and with the release of “All Around The World” critics confirmed that this is a step away from his usual work.
The video for the track was released on April 12, 2013. It is a tour video and consists of footage of Bieber’s life on and off stage during a tour, including parts of several shows, crowds of fans, backstage, as well as breathtaking shots of worldwide locations.
